Robins, wrens, and blue tits are some of the UK's best-loved garden birds. Whether it's a robin hopping across the lawn, a wren darting through a hedge, or a blue tit visiting a bird feeder, these small birds bring nature closer to home for millions of people across the country. We wanted to create socks that celebrate these familiar favourites while supporting a charity that works tirelessly to protect birds and the habitats they depend on.
Although robins, wrens, and blue tits are still common sights in many parts of the UK, they face growing pressures from habitat loss, climate change, and changes in the way land is managed. Gardens, parks, woodlands, and hedgerows all provide important food and nesting opportunities, but these spaces are becoming increasingly fragmented. By creating wildlife-friendly environments and protecting natural habitats, we can help ensure these much-loved birds continue to thrive.

The RSPB, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, is the UK's largest nature conservation charity, with more than one million members supporting its work. The charity manages over 220 nature reserves across the UK, protecting vital habitats for birds and other wildlife. Through conservation projects, scientific research, education programmes, and campaigns for nature, the RSPB works to create a world where wildlife can flourish. They also help inspire people to connect with nature through their popular newsletter, monthly magazine, visitor facilities, and network of retail stores.

A minimum of £500 a year from all Bare Kind RSPB socks sold will be donated to the RSPB, a registered charity in England and Wales, number 207076, and in Scotland, number SC037654.
Our Philosophy
Restoring the biodiversity of our planet and its varied species is at the core of Bare Kind’s mission. By donating 10% of gross profits to charities that support the animals on our socks, we can continue fighting the fight against species extinction.
Bare Kind has been able to achieve an all-time high of donations in recent years. The business expanded its sock range to 40+ pairs and supports 35+ charities.
